George Avraam is a Cypriot journalist, scriptwriter and producer born in December 1978 in Nicosia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Social Sciences from Frederick University of Cyprus. Over his 24-year career, he has worked across various media platforms, including radio, newspapers, and television. He has written and produced three short films and three short documentaries, along with one feature-length creative documentary. His latest project, "WHEN THE SWALLOWS FALL SILENT," was completed on January 10, 2025. His works have been recognized at international film festivals across the USA, Sweden, Greece, Cape Town and Cyprus, earning him several awards. Notably, his films "30", "Beloved Days" and were released in cinemas in France, UK, Hungary and Cyprus. Additionally, his documentaries "Hope Against Hopeless", "Beloved Days" and "Roll Call Of The Missing" along with his short films "30" and "Milk-Rose" have been selected for worldwide distribution by Films Media Group, 7 Palms Entertainment and Cosmote TV.
